(30 July 2015 / 06 September 2018) he bought himself a large bed from the meagre savings that he had and he learned to cook some dishes high in flavour and low on fat so that any given day he could invite someone to stay everything would be prepared but when the moment came he never knew the thing to say to show them that he cared he worked out and he shaved in a strict daily routine he never drank or stayed up late his underwear and sheets were clean so that whenever someone came to brighten up his day they would find him at his best but when the moment came there was no way to make them stay he embraced the morning light learned to savour the bright side and filled his heart with highest hopes and he forced himself to smile at every cat and every child like a circus freak on dope but it only led to shame life just doesn’t work that way try as he may to make a stand his moment never really came and all that brightened up his day was to know that it would end there’s really nothing you can do when the world’s at odds with you it will not warm up to you you’re taking yourself for a fool cross your heart and face the truth: there’s really nothing here for you

Wake-Up Call 04:11
08/13 October 2018 that moment when you realise you’re awake in this long night and the bad dream you’ve left behind was a mercy now lost that moment when you realise that you’ve opened up your weary eyes to a dreadful truth that outshines all the killing fields you’ve crossed that moment of despondency when all you’ve ever hoped to be lies in ruins before your feet strewn across barren shores when you see through your own disguise and the last light dies in your eyes that’s the moment when you realise you’ve bet all you had on the wrong horse that moment when the nightmare ends you grope in the dark hoping for a hand but there’s no-one there to help defend against the succubus of dread you scream at the night that still remains with no comfort to relieve the pain when you see the end of this losing game that’s the moment you wake up dead

09 October 2018 Iä! Iä! Iä! Iä! Iä! Iä! We await The coming of an ancient wake-up call Iä! Iä! We await The lightless dawn to liberate us all Iä! Iä! The one who dwells beyond the stars Iä! Iä! The one who whispers in the dark Iä! Iä! The one who dreams this ghoulish farce Iä! Iä! Reveal thyself to those who bear the mark Iä! Iä! We await The one who breaks the last line of defence Iä! Iä! We await The looming void to lead us to the end

The Host 07:06
15.–17 June 2018 there’s always time for another haunting there’s always room for the next ghost though the undead always leave me wanting I will always be a willing host there’s nothing quite like a proper haunting no one as loyal as a silent ghost when the dying leave and the living taunt me only the undead will share a toast to a soul in dismay to a mind in disarray to a life that’s gone astray to the faithless that turn away from the day with open arms I invite the haunting the lights are out, the stage is set with an open mind and a bitter wanting it only takes a thought to raise the dead it’s so lifeless here when there’s no haunting the gaping void of an empty host when even ghosts turn away to taunt me no-one in the world will raise a toast to the spark of life that fades to ideals and hopes decayed to the will to leave this place to the nameless that have returned to their graves
